Weerribben-Wieden National Park, with over 10,000 hectares, is the largest contiguous peat bog area in northwestern Europe.

A labyrinth of puddles, lakes, ditches, mysterious-looking swamp forests, vast reed beds and flowery meadows.

Nursery for special plant and animal species and a base for sailing, cycling and walking recreationists.
